I would like to hear of some testimonials/opinions on clothes shopping from young, plus size women. How hard is it to find clothes that fit that are actually sold in stores at the mall? Or to find plus size clothes in the mall that are actually stylish or that don’t look like it came from your grandmother’s closet? Is it frusterating to order plus size clothes from an online store or catalog, only to find out that they don’t fit right? I would love to hear any and all stories you have about these and anything else clothes shopping related you would like to share. I will be using this information as background research for a college-level speech I am giving on the need of more plus size stores and selections in todays malls, because not everyone can order clothes from an online store and be satisfies with the fit (something they would have been able to avoid if they were shopping in a real store in the mall). Monday, May 3rd, 2010Im nearly eight months pregnant and I need clothes. I have a special special event coming up in Australia-Brisbane in two weeks time and need loads and loads of young stylish clothes. At least 14 outfits as im going for a week and like a variety of clothes. Im already huge now, so in another couple of weeks i’ll be the size of a horse. I find maternity clothing to fit and look funny on me, so i would prefer normal plus sized clothing. I’ve moved up several sizes (hehe) so plus sizes with the stomach is about all i can fit right now (Pray i get back to normal after the baby, have to work out alot)
Im 21 years old and would like young fashionable plus size clothing, money is not a problem. I will be flying over to brisbane a bit early to do my shopping.

AHH (itsaboy) we have SHOPPING CENTRES, but where i am, we don’t exactly have the nicest clothing for pregnant people. Was wondering if there were a lot in brizzy (as i have never been there before) and I dont want to leave it up to the last minute to get nice clothes (just incase they dont have a good variety) I hate sarcasim! I think it’s ONE of the ugliest qualities anyone can possess (if it;s just to make someone else look stupid that is)……

Sunday, May 2nd, 2010My lover visit mother 2 week. He has catalogs of Victoria’s Secret, Frederick’s of Hollywood, Playboy, Ujena and more. I like order some clothes, surprise him when he return. I am confused. Catalog have misses, junior, women’s and plus sizes. I buy clothes in Japan when I go there. I not find lover’s tape measur, forgot size in inchs. My height 154cm, weight 44kg average, bust 84cm, waist 56cm, hips 81cm. Clothes for women with hips bigger than bust, fit me?

(No fat jokes because I’m not fat…. I am about the exact same size as my avatar now… ) But they need more than 10 outfits, right?

Friday, April 16th, 2010Ok this bugs the hell outta me. My Mom’s not normal right? She’s been doing this to me for years now, since I was in my teens. I mean I have regular clothes and then I have some kinda skimpy or tight fitting outfits that I used to wear to parties or dances when going out with friends in my closet and she takes the skimpy or tight fitting stuff. Plus were not even the same size / weight either. She’s about 15-20 lbs heavier than I am. If she was going thru a midlife crisis before when I was in my teens what is she going thru know that I’m almost 30? I don’t think she’s ever gonna change and alot of people laugh at her when she goes out in my clothes or clothes like this, which embarasses me and makes me feel bad for her. I tried talking to her about it once when I was 19 and she told me I was just jealous and that I should start dressing more revealing than her then since I am younger. What do you all think? Is my Mom nuts or what? This can’t be normal behavior.
I’m not living at home anymore but she’ll ask to borrow stuff when she comes to visit, back when I was living at home, up till the time I turned 19, she’d just take my stuff when I was at school or out and wear em without me knowing about it.
Cantor20 I understand there are cool clothes for older women but there are clothes that are meant to be for the younger crowd too and these clothes definitely don’t look right on a women in her 50s, plus i definitely don’t wear moomoos or flower skirts ewwww
