Friday, May 7th, 2010I am a full figured woman (size 20-22). I’ve never been the stylish type. I feel so stuck in
my style and I never know how to create different outfits from the clothes I have. I always
pair the same pants and shirts together.
My clothes look weak. Another problem, I’m in college and I don’t have a lot of money to
spend on clothes. All of the plus sized stores are so expensive. I try to shop on clearance
but I rarely find things that I like and if I do find something. It looks like another shirt or
pair of pants I already have. I’m 23 and I dress business causal most of the time because
that’s the only style I know.
I really need some help pairing clothes together and also find clothes that are affordable.
Target has great things but I don’t know how to pair the clothes.
I’m looking to change my clothing style?
Tuesday, May 4th, 2010for this summer, and basically, im only going to wear spring/summerish dresses, capris, skirts, and skinny jeans, and like cute shirts, but i need to know where to get these things? i foiund a lot of cute stuff on aeropostale, so maybe stores like that? and please don’t tell me american eagle, hollister, and abercombie and fitch or such, those stores suck.
why would you buy a tshirt just becasue it has the word “hollister” on it, it makes no sense, plus, hollister has poor quality, i bought a jacket in Branson, and wehn i take it out of my suitcase, the zippers broke, so i took it back to “exchange” it for a different “size”, and the zipper on taht one only zips half the time, then my mom washes it and it broke, so pretty crappy if you ask me.
only american eagle is good, and aeropostale, but im looking for stuff more unusual, because face it, everyone wears hollister and such, any ideas? online stores i can look at?
more unique, sporty, flirty stuff would be great!

Monday, April 12th, 2010Ok, so I am going shopping for some new clothes and I am 23, wear a size 18 and am about 5′3. I am pretty open to new styles, but don’t want to wear anything that is completly unflattering to my body type. I like to wear trendy stuff, but sometimes it is so hard to find things in my size that don’t look old ladyish, or that look awful on my body.
Also what stores do you recommend?? Any links to outfit examples or stores would be great!!
Also, please no rude comments about the plus sized thing.

Monday, March 22nd, 2010I have only two bridesmaids and one of them is a plus size. She is a size 20 in regular clothes. That is all fine and dandy, but the dresses she is sending me (emails mostly) that she thinks they should wear, I think are totally not flattering on her body type at all. The other maid it would be fine on, she wears a size 8 regularly. The dresses she is sending me are very short…above the knee. Strapless or spagetti straps and just not flattering at all. Plus, they are just not fitting in with the formality of the wedding. An evening affair. Could you please help me out and maybe send me links to dresses that you would think could work well on a larger frame. First of all, I do not want her looking ridiculous, but I also don’t want her looking ridiculous in my wedding pics. I hate to sound horrible, but that is the way I feel. I myself am not a small girl by any means. My dress is a size 14. I just think that here are more flattering looks out there. If you have seen dresses that you think would work well or have worn ones yourself, please send me a pic. Oh by the way, this is my dress:

is lane bryant the only source for quality plus size clothing that actually has some sense of style?
Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010other stores that carry plus sizes seem to be deterined to take people who are already self-conscious because of their size and make them stick out even worse by only providing the ugliest clothing possible. Lane Bryant has come up over the last few years to offer some great styles in larger cuts…but I’m shopping for a dress for a friend’s wedding and LB’s dress selection is sparse right now…is there anyone besides them that understands the need for stylish design for the larger women out there?
